Erica Jones Biddings is a busy retired inner-city school counselor with over 30 years of experience. She earned her B.A. in Communications from Oakwood University, an M.S. in Psychology/School Counseling from Albizu University, and an Ed.S. in School Leadership from Barry University.
Mrs. Biddings enjoys writing short stories, articles for magazines and newsletters. This is her first book; however, Mrs. Biddings has written and been awarded several grants to improve students’ social and emotional progress throughout her career. In addition, Mrs. Biddings has conducted countless workshops and training sessions for school counselors, educators, and parents. She is an advocate for all children, especially those at risk. Mrs. Biddings loves to travel and spend time with her husband Keith and their toy poodle Rico in S. Florida.
Currently, Mrs. Biddings serves as the co-founder and program director of the nonprofit Achievement Society of South Florida Inc. In addition, she advocates for programs that help develop students physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally in the South Florida area.
